Sequential switch

I see some mention in the archives of someone thinking about building 2 of
these in parallel and Ken mentions to use the reset function to keep them in
sync. Did anyone ever get around to building it this way?

I would like to build 2 units to run parallel in only sequencer mode. Im
thinking to cut out all the ins and out on individual stages and adding a
length selector so i can choose 1-8 stages. Outputs will be 1 gate, 1 CV,2
gate, 2 CV. Ideally it would be nice to also build some kind of skip
function into the stages but i can do without this.

I also see mention in the archives again to link them together with another
switch but i think ill pass on that amount building complexity lacking more
concrete instructions.

Has anyone got any advice on this? Im not the most technically adept
builder. I thinking to use smaller style motm knobs and mount into 2 unit
.com panel.

Also can someone point me to a more detailed explanation of the new
programmer?

Regards

I haven't built a 16 step Seq Switch, however it's farily easy link
up two eight steppers for 16 steps. You just need a few helper modules.

I run the ouptut of the first into the mix input of the second, and
use a third 2-step sequencer (running at /8) and inverter to turn
each switch on and off every eight steps. The inhibit inputs make all
outputs go low on a Seq Switch, so the gate outputs work correctly as
well.

A helper module that consisted of a resettable /8 flip flop and
inverter would make it even easier to link two of them.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
