LM394s and Tempcos

LM394s and Tempcos

2006-10-28 by David Holt

I've found the LM394s at Digikey for my VCOs, but they're the can
package. Meanwhile, the holes in the PCB are not in a circle, like a
can, but inline, like a DIP package. Are the leads long enough to
accomodate bending to go in the right holes?

Also, where could one find the 1k tempcos in the US?

Thanks-
dave

Yep. But you can get DIP LM394's from futurlec.com for under $2:

I'll sell some for $5 each, shipped.

Yes, the leads are plenty long enough. Ken has both the DIP and can package
outlines on the silkscreen of the VCO and Bi-N-Tic filter PCBs.

1K (and 2K) Tempcos are available from Elby Designs.

Click "Browse or Buy" and go to the "Others" category.
