Two Simple Wave Folder questions

Two Simple Wave Folder questions

2006-11-08 by Andrew Scheidler

On the Simple Wave Folder (Lockhart) parts list there are two 10n caps listed. They are not shown on the front of the PCB, but on the back, next to the power connection, it shows "10n" near the +15 and the -15 hole.

Do I connect one 10n to the +15v & 0v, then connect the other 10n to the -15v & 0v ? That's what I gathered from other circuit diagrams, but I wanted to be sure...

Also, when a circuit diagram shows a line ending at a "upward pointing open triange", that represents the +15v ?
And the "downward pointing open triangle" represents the -15v ?

thanks,
Slow Learner Andrew

Yes (I haven't got the PCB in front of me, but thats what decoupling
caps do)

Yes
It can get confusing looking at schematics from other sources, mostly,
this is the norm.

good on you for asking, I can remember wondering about the same things
not so long ago.
cheers
