Wave Multiplier question PWM quandry

Wave Multiplier question PWM quandry

2007-08-11 by matthewregula

Finally got the wave multiplier built, its a monster and better than I
anticipated (which was a lot). Grinder and the lockhart are running
properly, the triangle section seems to function as I understand it
should. However, the square is acting strange. I am only passing a
signal upon the condition that: the PWM manual pot is roughly centered,
and then the manual offset is also at about center. The PWM pot has
perhaps 20 degrees of sweep from center to either side, at that point
it is cutting the signal entirely. Same outcome with any incoming cv to
the offset, or PWM input. I've double checked all of the values on the
board as well as the pot, they all seem to check out.

Any suggestions?

Cant wait to get it sorted and build the second one.

Reduce the value of the resistor between pins 1 and 2 of IC4a. This will
reduce gain, expanding the control range.
