Drum Sim probs

I have had my dual drum module for a while now. I had not been using it but
now I'm building a drum box so I pulled it out and plugged it in to test it.
It was behaving very erratically when I noticed that the wires to the pots
where not attached very well. I pulled the pots off and rewired them. I
wired pots to the resonance instead of trimmers. Now when I plug an lfo into
the trigger inputs, it does not trigger the drums. I'm using the utility lfo
square output. When I adjust the res pots I can hear the oscillations but it
does not trigger. Could I have damaged something?
