new member/user w/part question....

Hello!

I recently got in on building Mr Stone's designs by buying PCBs for a
sequencer/programmer and an Analog Shift Register. I've just about
finished up populating the sequencer/programmer boards, I just have
the little caps on the back side of the board to do. The 1206 SMD
caps are easy to find, the 100n monolithic cap that goes under the
LM393 is a little trickier. Does anyone know of a source for this
piece? Thanks.

Any 100n will do. Ordinary ceramic, mylar etc. as long as you can fit it
there physically. By the way, the monolithic ceramics are not hard to find.
They are probably the most common cap there is - they are also the bottom
rung of the quality tree as their job does not require anything better.

When you get the ASR going, take a look/listen to the stuff in the
Files section under "ASR clock question". I'm trying to figure out if
my ASR is functioning properly and haven't had any responses yet.
Anybody?

Thanks,
p.
