cgs04 mixer shows odd resistor value on pcb...?

cgs04 mixer shows odd resistor value on pcb...?

2007-10-21 by prophei

hello!

i got a number of the cgs04 mixer pcb's and noticed that a whole row of resistors are marked
as 47k, while the schematic shows them as being 100k. i assume that i should follow the
schematic, but just wanted to verify that the pcb is in error...

thanks!

The PCB is the older version, which is linked from the text in the first
paragraph of the web page. You can either build it as per the PCB or use
100k everywhere the board says 47k. Either way will work.

operating cgs65 Tube VCA at +/-12V

2007-10-22 by Anthony Rolando

Has anybody tried running the CGS 65 Tube VCA at +/-12V?

Looking at the schematic, everything around the tube would seem to be fine at +/-12V.

But the tube, I am not able to even guess at this... any comments will be greatly appreciated!

Thanx,

Tony

It should, but with slightly degraded performance.

Not sure on that one. It's only running with one power rail across the tube,
while CGS65 has both across the tube.
