Paper faceplates

Paper faceplates

2003-05-19 by Michael

Hi Group,

I'd like to try the paper faceplate idea and wondered if any of you
had tried it yet. I think I've figured out most of the details
except for one thing: What's the best type of glue to use to attach
the paper design to the metal (aluminum) faceplate? I'd like to use
glue that will be permanent yet won't discolour the paper.

Any ideas or suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks,
Michael

I use a Scotch brand preassure sensitive tape, which is a film of "sticky"
between waxed paper. There is no tape per se involved. The stuff is designed
for mounting posters and comes on a roll that is about 12 inches wide.

If you want to use glue, laminate BOTH sides of the paper. This will prevent
the glue staining.
