CGS Alphabet Soup.

CGS Alphabet Soup.

2009-03-30 by Jon

Hey!

Slightly bored at work I came up with the idea of giving all the CGS modules 3 letters combination - as the old Serge systems used to have!

Anyway - take it for what it is - a fun idea! :)

CGS01 - SBO
CGS02 - WTB
CGS03 - PLF
CGS04 - MXR
CGS06 - BGR
CGS07 - GSQ
CGS08 - V8S
CGS09 - VCD
CGS13 - GCR
CGS18 - DSM
CGS19 - CBS
CGS21 - SPM
CGS22 - MDV
CGS23 - CMM
CGS23 - GTC
CGS26 - ALP
CGS28 - SQS
CGS29 - WAM
CGS30 - BPF
CGS31 - DGN
CGS32 - IFM
CGS33 - MAM
CGS34 - ASR
CGS35 - STF
CGS36 - PLD
CGS37 - CVC
CGS38 - SPS
CGS39 - QLG
CGS40 - MOM
CGS41 - DCR
CGS43 - CAM
CGS44 - PTD
CGS45 - DOF
CGS47 - CDS
CGS48 - VCO
CGS50 - HML
CGS51 - WRS
CGS58 - SWF
CGS54 - XLG
CGS55 - ASM
CGS56 - GCR
CGS57 - BIN
CGS58 - ULO
CGS59 - PSQ
CGS62 - SDT
CGS63 - PSD
CGS64 - VCA
CGS66 - PSU

And without looking at the CGS site - do you know the real name? ;)

Cheers,
//Jon

I think that's a very good guess!

I'll hope for a Transient WaveFormer :)

Tiny wave folder, using all surface mount components for our soldering pleasure.

Or tiny wormhole factory?

"Twin" Wasp Filter?
(If that's right, Jason P should really win the free inflatable
solar-powered portable modular-compatible USB Air Guitar,... or
whatever :-)

The suspense is unbearable........

Hi Ken
on the wasp filter stuffed PCB photo, there is a little piggy back board with trimpots. Is this for setting CV bias rather than panel mounted pots or....?

They were as well as the front panel pots - to "zero" the position. The fed
via the 100k resistors into the CVSN points.
