rrm interface circuits

i realise the website says "if you don't know, don't ask..." :-)

a musician friend asked me to build him a ring modulator, and after
determining that he was after a hardware one rather than a software
one (you have to check, these days...) i thought that building a
*real* one would be the way to go.

is it just a case of buffering the I/O, or is there more to it?

See the Active Real Ring modulator - CGS67. It has the buffering as part of
it. You also need a power supply and a second signal source, such as an
oscillator.
Have a look at the Frostwave Blue Ringer for inspiration.
