cgs35 (Syntacon filter) questions

2011-03-30 by Ove Ridé

I'm designing my own board based on the cgs35 schematic, and I have a
couple of questions.
1) Why no amount pot for the CV input? This is not really a problem
for me since I can add it, but is there a reason why it has been left
out?
2) The LP input, as well as the output stage, have a coupling
capacitors. Are those needed? Ie, can the filter be used with signals
with a DC offset and preserve the offset, or will it just get stuck at
one of the rails or something stupid like that? I guess I'll find out
soon enough...

I don't think there was one on the original synthacon synth. Feel free to
add as needed.

You'd probably mess up the transistor biasing or something. Try it and see.
