searched this question on the forum, but didnt find that it had been asked, which makes me more embarrassed to ask it..

confirming the trimmer pot pin config has pin 3 going through the 1k5 resistor connecting to the centre tap..

confirmation is appreciated

Ultimately, yes. The center tap of the transformer becomes your 0v line.
