CGS59 use Incandescent in place of LED ?? 2014-09-28 by djangosfire Getting ready to build an 8 stage CGS59 sequencer - is it possible to modify the circuit, and use incandescent bulbs in place of the LED's?Any pointers? Thank you for any ideas or advice to help make this work :)The bulbs I have right now are 16V .04ABest - Adam
Re: CGS59 use Incandescent in place of LED ?? 2014-09-28 by Ken Stone The LEDs are used as diode isolation for the outputs. You need them, or a 1N4148 in their place. Add the bulb between the LED anode and 0V. The bulbs well see around one volt less than your power rail. (11V on a 12V system. 14V on a 15V system)Show quoted textHide quoted text On Sun, Sep 28, 2014 at 8:20 PM, ads@...
