CGS59 use Incandescent in place of LED ??

Getting ready to build an 8 stage CGS59 sequencer - is it possible to modify the circuit, and use incandescent bulbs in place of the LED's?

Any pointers?

The bulbs I have right now are 16V .04A

The LEDs are used as diode isolation for the outputs. You need them, or a 1N4148 in their place. Add the bulb between the LED anode and 0V. The bulbs well see around one volt less than your power rail. (11V on a 12V system. 14V on a 15V system)
