utility LFO speed cap

utility LFO speed cap

2015-04-16 by steveinselman

Hello Ken and all,
I wanted to drop one or both LFOs to about half speed or slower. Does anybody know which cap and components to change to achieve this?

Thanks,

-Steve

Replace the 47n cap in the integrator portion with a higher value. Doubling the value should give you half the frequency. Obviously, use a 100n cap, not a 94n, assuming you can even find one.

The mod is actually in the docs: to make it go slower, increase the 47nF cap in the integrator.

There's a mod for ultra slow , normal and regular on Muffs posted by Fonik (Matthias) , easy to make on stripboard and installing the cap position on the board. Three caps and a switch pretty much. Found it !
