CGS09 VC Divider - Set Up

Hi Ken and all

I am spending the holidays going through all of my 7 BoCGS and Serge panels;
i'm calibrating , perhaps modding , sorting out 5 year old newbie build errors and generally making them all even more awesome.

I am into the BOG panel at the moment and trying to aquaint myself with the CGS09 VC Divider , which i have to be honest i never tried hard enough to understand.

I've been referring to this Muffs post for patching advice :

What i wanted toi ask the group is , does anyone have any calibration advice ?

I have the DMM and the 'scope at hand but can't find any documentation on what to do with the SPAN and OFFSET trimmers.

"This module requires setting up. Feed an audio signal into the Clock In input. Monitor the output at HO Pulse Out. With the control voltage set at 0 volts, adjust the OFFSET trimmer until the input frequency equals the output frequency. With the control voltage set at the maximum (15 volts if wired as per the diagram), adjust the SPAN trimmer until you get the lowest frequency possible. If the output stops then back up until you get a signal again."
