CGS28 Sequential Switch question

CGS28 Sequential Switch question

2016-03-10 by phijel

So I finished building this, and it works great !

(I first struggled with it but quickly the culprit was a faulty TL074 - the second chip DOA from mouser in this order...grrrr)

So thanks Ken for another great design !

And now I start to dream about adding a stage select input functionality to it (maybe using another board ?), which would make it truly perfect for my use

Would this be easily doable you think ?

Thanks !

Philippe

Doable, yes. The counter has programming inputs, so it is easy enough to select an input with binary. The hard part is you will want to be using 8 individual inputs to select the stages, and that requires one of these http://au.mouser.com/Search/Refine.aspx?Keyword=cd40147

thanks for your reply, Ken. Good to know it's possible (but I'm afraid it goes well beyond my current limited knowledge of electronics, so I'll keep this info for later ;-) )
