CGS10 How to Add More Notes?

CGS10 How to Add More Notes?

2016-04-24 by puguglybonehead

Would it be possible to add an extra octave or two of notes to the CGS10 mini keyboard by using a divide-by-2 arrangement or something similar? I don't need 88 keys, but 2 or 3 octaves would be a useful size. I'm trying to build a portable setup.

No. The CGS10 only provides voltages, not the frequencies themselves.

Just add a DC-offset of 1V on the output for each octave you want to go up (or -1V if you want to go lower).
Could be solved with a switch, on-off-on, where it goes to -1V if down and +1V if it goes up. That would give you 3 octaves to control.
