Joysticks

2004-01-30 by sk0za

Hello All

This should be a simple question-

I am looking for josticks to build into modular controllers, much like the ones used in
the wiard modules... Do any of you know of a source/part number for anything like
that?

Thanks a ton!

I used to get mine from MECI (www.meci.com).

Those joysticks were available at meci.com, but someone has apparently
bought the whole lot.

In fact, it wasn't Grant. He was asking who did on some list or
another. Too bad, because they were very nice.

What make were they, or are they just a "generic" part?

I have no idea. I am unable to find my reciept, which might have given
up the secret.

I wouldn't have minded it being Grant. He and Ken are my favorite designers.
His new axis controller sounds very intriguing...

Take a look to the CGS joystick controller, you can adapt it to any
pot value, and since it uses the DC mixer you may add external inputs
too to be attenuated by the joystick, instead being a generator only.
This is my fovorite design, since it's the most versatile.
