rotary switches in US

2002-02-23 by tsomneevich

Hi Group,

Just a warning that the Xicon rotary switches from Mouser don't fit
the boards. I have the enclosed/costlier switches on the way, and
I'll let you know as soon as I get them if they fit or not. The
Xicons are too small.

Scott

Hi all

If need be, I can always supply the switches with the boards.

Has anyone tried the Lorlin pots (Mouser Stock Nos. 10WA144 (D shaft) or
105-2454 (Round shaft)) yet. Have any other brands been successfully used?

Let me know so I can add the infor to the page.

Probably not what you are seeking, but I mounted the Burst pcb on a pcb
bracket and wired to a Lorlin 1 pole, 12 position nylon rotary switch,
Mouser 105-13571, and switching works wonderfully.

The Lorlins are on the way from Mouser as we speak. I'll let you all know.
I just wanted to say the Xicons didn't work because I listed them on the 'Yank parts list' even though I qualified them and the Lorlins as 'untested'.
