RE: [chromapolaris] Help with moving forward with this Polaris

I’m sure it’s not an easy decision but congratulations on committing to keeping another Polaris alive.
I went out and spent $4 today on M4 screws/washers/nuts to stick through the panel and membrane to keep things aligned during panel replacement and I’ve already got a pint of adhesive remover waiting so I am determined to finally replace my panels this weekend after putting it off forever.
  Wish me luck

Well, went ahead and bit the bullet, bought new 3372's and 1 3374 - ordered remaining missing IC's, recapped the power supply, will change out the voltage regulators for shits and giggles, and will order a new membrane from Paul...

I'll be in it for around 900$ in "parts" - all my labour, but at least I'll know whats in it...

I think the person before me wired up the left hand membrane, then the right side went out and they just had it, took the 3372's out and called it a day...

I'll finish the project....unfortunately I have a soft spot for hard luck cases, used to work on Spitfires and MG's when I was younger....not much of a return on investment, but if I get this up and running then it'll be a keeper....

I'll also go ahead and burn new operating Eproms as I suppose they could be shot also...

Go with version 11?
