Editor/librarian software seems to have been disappearing. First Galaxy (which had a Polaris module) was discontinued shortly before Opcode went out of business circa 1999; and now it looks like SoundDiver is dead. At least, I don't believe Apple will resurrect it. So I wouldn't bother with it--as a matter of fact I believe the public beta had an expiry date which has long passed. (I will try firing it up on my other computer in the studio when I have a few moments--I have an XSKey). There is Unisyn, but it has no Polaris module. http://www.motu.com/products/software/unisyn/ Someone could write one: http://www.motu.com/techsupport/technotes/document.1998-11-03.8468162420 In the meantime, for patch storage and retrieval on Mac OS X, there's SysEx Librarian. http://www.snoize.com/SysExLibrarian/ Chris On 26-Feb-06, at 8:56 PM, bfinkie wrote: > Hello All: > > Like many others I have a Polaris with a semi-functioning control > panel.
