In fact Chris Ryan's site with Polaris information probably is more
useful but I'll try to keep it working as long as possible.

I use Mailman software to run the Rhodes Chroma list (it's actually hosted by a friend of mine). We've had zero spam over the years, due to the fact that only subscribers can post. There is often a fair amount of non-subscriber email but the list never sees it; as administrator I just delete it every day or two.

If the Yahoo! group totally breaks down, I could probably add a Polaris group. The issue is the list archives, which have a fairly primitive representation in Mailman; I like to make them public and link them into my site, and do so "by hand" [2].

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
