i really have had it with those stupid mylar ribbons--- the amount of time and frustration wasted on trying to repair them just to have them snap again ,shorter and shorter, till there is nothing left is rediculous. I would think that if working polarises now sell for 600-700 then the switch panels have to be worth $200+ (300?) to keep them going. I guess you would have to solder in a couple diffrent style connectors to the boards to accomodate a different type of multi strand ribbon.
