The issue with the PC version of sound diver (not sure about the MAC), was that it came with the most annoyingly inhuman form of copyright protection. They implemented a sort of floppy key, where everytime you installed it, you had to insert the floppy, and it would make a strike on the copy....once the strikes ran out, you couldn't install it anymore....and there were only like 3 strikes or some BS like that. I actually owned this original version, and it would be fair to say that it spawned alot of hatred in me towards emagic. There are in fact pirated copies of it out there, obviously, there is for almost anything. I am not saying I personally use them, or that I condone such actions, I am simply stating that they are out there....where are they? If I were to use the lingo of the underground when speaking of unspeakable places, I would say that they are in 'the usual places'.
