Panels still available?

Panels still available?

2015-01-08 by constanw@...

Hello, I just bought a Chroma Polaris and I have a feeling I'm going to be replacing the membrane panel, are these still available?

Thanks!

Dylan

Yes, they're $200 a set plus shipping. Give me your address and I'll give
you an exact shipping quote.

Hi Paul,

I was wondering, does the Chroma have the same problem with membrane failure? I just bought a chroma as well.

No, it doesn't. They do fail occasionally, but not like the Polaris. And there are no replacements available (because the demand is notenough to justify the tooling expense).

As far as I am aware the Chroma panels were made in the USA and most haven't had issues.

Polaris panels made in the USA (which I believe were only on the prototype models) should also still be working.

I'm back from vacation. The panels are $200 a set, plus shipping. Insured
Priority Mail is $12.48. As soon as I receive $212.48 via PayPal, at the
same address as on this e-mail, and you provide the exact shipping
address, I'll send you one set of replacement Polaris membrane switch
panels within one business day. They should take two business days in
transit.
