Sync is a great way to get old analogs in time. the Jupiter 8 has sync input for the arpeggiator and it's fun as hell.

some drum machines need din sync. i use it sometimes to trigger timed arpeggiators. you can actually use din sync and ext arpeggiator clock simultaneously on many old synths to trigger complex patterns.

Hi people, Who knows a Polaris specialist repairer in the Dutch region (or Belgium, Luxemburg or Germany)? I have a broken Polaris with some problems powering up and my regular repairer didn't manage to fix it. Cheers, Wouter

Hi, In the states here there are some and maybe you should look into it. But, I'm sure the shipping will be high. I wish I could give you some info in Europe other than Lamm in Germany. But, they work on MemoryMoogs. Hope you find a tech there. God Bless Bob Compu Doc's/Neutron Elec _____

Hello Here some recommendations from http://www.sequencer.de/synth/index.php/Reparatur on german repairers in the north west region. I don't have experience with any of them, but I can tell about the reports, that are given from the sequencer.de-forum about those addesses: In regards of powersupplies it looks like Martin Hwner in Bochum can be recommended http://www.synthtaste.de/ But according to the reports I estimate him only good for powersupply stuff and keybed mechanics. In general Helmut Fischbach near Dsseldorf has a good reputation http://www.helmutfischbach.com Very wellknown, but booked quite well with a longer waiting list, is Achim Lenzgen (former technician of Synthesizerstudio Bonn. http://www.synthesizerservice.de/ A local famous guy seems to be Georg Mahr in Krefeld (near Dsseldorf) http://www.georgmahr.de Florian

Hi. I had my Chroma Polaris repaired by my technician in Ferrara, Italy. In the past he repaired other two Polaris apart mine. If you are interested I can give you his contacts (email & phone). Another good thing is that I can borro e my Polaris to him during repair so that he will have also a "live" reference other than schematics (for power issues this could be useful...).
