Factory Presets as a .wav or .mp3

2019-05-19 by steve_synthmagic@...

Hi, does anyone have a .mp3 or .wav of the original Factor presets cassette tape? I have searched everywhere, but cannot find it.

Thanks

Check eBay! I seen a cassette or two about a week ago. Might still be for sale. Peace

Thanks for the reply. It's still on there, but he wants £51 plus £40 to ship plus import duties and there is no mention as to if the tape still works. I only need a .wav of it so I can play it via my computer.
It would be nice to own the original tape, but £40 to ship is a blatant ripoff.

If someone creates this file, the .mp3 format shouldn't be used, because it doesn't necessarily preserve the waveshape, just the harmonic structure. Use uncompressed .wav.

Thanks. Are they the Factory Presets? I was under the impression they are presets created by someone on the site.
Cheers

As the contributor, David Clarke, wrote, they’re "Volume 1 Chroma Polaris Voice Programs and Chroma Polaris Sequences from the 'Chroma Polaris Vol. 1’ cassette” — and Volume 2 is up as well.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
