how to obtain factory patches

how to obtain factory patches

2007-11-10 by toadmanxtro

Hi there. I have had the polaris for a couple of years and didn't
have the factory patches. I saw the demo on youtube and was very
excited to hear them finally. I was looking for an easy way to
transfer factory patches from the computer to the polaris via midi and
bypassing the cassette. Is there an easy way to do this? After all
that I've been researching there doesn't seem to be an easy way.

Cheers

well as i posted not long ago....my polaris would NOT accept the
audio data of the factory patches that i got off the rhodesshroma
website....and i did transfer it to cassette in a couple diffrent
ways...no one could tell me why that didnt work in a way i could
prove...one theory was that the digital audio cant be read by the
polaris which needs analog audio... but my response was to give up,
say 'why do i need factory patches anyway'...most were fairly boring
and lame, and just made my own sounds... Hopefully you can load in
the info off the computer, somehow i couldnt...
