SYSEX version of Factory Patch Bank

SYSEX version of Factory Patch Bank

2007-12-10 by David Clarke

I've created a copy of the Factory Patch in SYSEX format. It seems to
work fine for me - but is there anyone out there who can also test it on
their machine?

I'm happy to try it.

Hi,
Count me in too, I'm waiting for a USB to MIDI cable first but I would
like to try the SYSEX patch also. I made an audio cable attached to the
spk out of my sound card to the sync IN of the Polaris, I used the
patch from the www.rhodeschroma.com site but it only worked with the
polproq2.wav file. You must use a stereo 1/8" plug with center
conductor not the tip, the polaris side is a standard 1/4" mono plug.
I'm new here so I'm not sure if this has been tried before.
Brian

I'm a bit confused. I didn't remember that Polaris supported bulk
patch dumps. Someone bring me up to speed. Glad to have my unit back
working after the horrendous cruel hoax "All the pins conducting on
the possibly fractured looking i/c ribbon but on the one that required
stripping next to it which looked fine EVERY CONTACT WAS BROKEN"
scenario. Why me Lord? Well it's working great now anyway :-) -Bob
