Hello...

Hi,

I'm a piano and guitar player, and I've got my eye on an old 70's Crumar T2
in a used music store, and I'm wondering if anyone can give me some
advice/pointers with it.

The functions seem pretty plain and simple to use, but on this one the bass
function doesn't work (though it did the first time I tried it in the store,
not the second time), and neither does the tone bend thing. Are these hard
to repair? The guy in the shop said it has hinges at the back and if I open
it up and vaccum out 25 years of dust and crap, I can probably fix it
myself. It comes with the stand, the volume pedal/bass pedalboard thingy
with some of the plastic chipped off, the cover, and no music stand, and
they want $300 Canadian = $200 American = 130 British Pounds for it. I
haven't got a clue about what this thing's worth, for all I know it could be
worth one tenth as much. All I know is I tried it out and really liked the
sound it gave, and the presets sound nice and the drawbars are in good shape
and you can get the Leslie thing going, kind of, with the trem and vibe
modulation, pity they don't have independent speed controls. Anyways if
anyone can tell me if it's worth it, I'd appreciate it!

thanks,

Ian Ratzer
