Bass pedals

2001-05-06 by Ian Alexander Ratzer

Dan,

Is the connector on the end box-shaped with the pins arranged in a square grid? If so it may well be meant to go with one of Crumar's electric Hammond organ knock-offs like the T1, T2, T3, or Organizer. I have a T2 and the bass pedals and volume pedal are built together into a separate unit with one cable for the bass pedals with 35 pins and another for the volume pedal, with 7 pins. Some of those 35 pins could be N/C making it effectively 32-pin. To my limited knowledge, Crumar didn't make any drum machines. As for a date, check any capacitors inside for date codes. A fair range would be between 1974 (when Crumar pushed its T series organs heavily based on Hammond's halting B3 production) and 1983, when MIDI was starting up.
