yes i noticed .. oops :(
i'm also a member of the Roland JX analogues group and there posts don't have to be approved. just before that i was trying to perform searches here in the crumar group and it did not work at all, so i thought it was related somehow. sorry again for flooding.

> About that ribbon cable....did yours disappear or what? Is it broken?

no i have one and it is in the synth (it would not work properly if it didn't. but that one cable is responsible for the drifting of the notes. even if you open the hood and press a note at the same time you can clearly hear the note change/drift. it currently works fine and the synth is in tune and does not drift, but it might start to do so again. it happened once before. it was ok for a week or two and then started to drift again. taking that cable out bending it a bit hepled, but for how long?

> On the control surface that i have as a spare there is a 6 pin ribbon cable but it only has one black connector not two connectors on each side. I don't know if you are handy with soldering but you can choose to desolder one connector on the pcb and just solder mine 6 pin cable directly to it.

i'm not a soldering expert but i have some friends that are.
there are quite a few of those cables that only have that one connector, so would it be possible for you to send for example 2 cables with one connector?

talk soon!
