not 100% sure how it was, but 2 of them are for osc1 and 2 for osc2. they are unlogically positioned in a X formation. best to turn of osc 2 while calibrating osc1. i used a guitar tuning vst plugin. was kinda handy. there are also some potentiometers that affect tune that are on te lower boards. one is a main croase main tune screw that is about in the middle. and there is one other different looking one that affects the pitch bend wheel. make sure the pitch wheel also bends the same amount in both directions (both oscs!). also the finetune knob on the back of the synth should be placed hard left (i think) since it othervise makes the mod wheel lfo work more (or only) in one direction, and that doesn't sound too cool. it is not easy, and that guitar tuner is quite essential! let me know what you found out while doing this, and how it worked out! i'm not sure i did it 100% correctly myself, but it seems to be in tune now, and both the mod & pitch wheel seem to work properly. --- In crumar@yahoogroups.com, "neurokrash" <spamkiller@...> wrote: > > Greetings, > > Can anyone help describe the proper tuning procedure for a Bit One? There are four potentiometers that affect oscillator pitch, and I've fiddled with them to get the instrument in a passable state, but I'm sure I didn't do it correctly. > > Thanks >
