These guys had lots of Crumar schematics available on ebay - most of which did not sell:
the Stringman might be very close to the MultiMan S listed here:

Just a heads up: The Crumar schematics that I've seen are extremely sparse, and have almost nothing besides drawings - few (if any) reference voltages, no parts lists, or calibration routine etc.
BTW: What are the symptoms?
