Crumar Musical Instruments User Group.

I recently aquired a Crumar Orchestrator from my dear departed 
keyboard plater. I like the string thing it does,but it needs some 
work.
The two lowest D's dont play,all the F#'s are out,
 its scratchy as hell (sliders) but I'd like to fix it.

I know my way around the inside of electronic equip., Caps,pots, etc.,
anybody know if I can tweak it myself to get it up and running?

If I take it to get fixed,How much should?will I pay?

Know any tricks to get a cool sound (effects,etc.)?
