No I didn't about them. Where are the batteries located?

Also, for any other trilogy owners: my string section seems to be on 
the fritz. Well it works fine but after the attack as the sound 
decays it picks up noise that follows the rate of modulation set on 
the synth. When I turn the knob the noise follows accordingly with 
on/off modulation rate. Strange. And it only happens with the 
strings. Has anyone had this problem? Is it indicative of a more 
serious problem?
