[crumar] Re: Performer "EQ Control"

Correct. Here's an extract from the block diagram:
+---------------------+
| master oscillator |
| top octave synth |
+----------+----------+
|
|
+----------V----------+
| waveforms and enve- |
| lopes generator |
| TDA1008 x 12 |
+-------+-----+-------+
| |
| |
+-------V-----V-------+
| EQ control |
| |
+----------+----------|
|
|
+----------V----------+
| analog delay lines |
| ; |
+----------+----------+
|
|
+----------V----------+
| vca and final |
| preamp |
+---------------------+
Analog delay lines run on TCA350 (which I have not been able to find info/datasheet for).
If you want more details mail me (or have the Big Tick mail me) directly to margus.kliimask@....
BTW, schematics for the Performer delay line/chorus can be found at:

Thanks...I do have another question. Does anyone with the schematics
know where in the signal chain the EQ controls are placed? I assume
the pure sawtooth wave is first run through the EQ controls and then
on to the bucket brigade delays--or whatever circuits it's using--
that give the Performer its characteristic chorused string sound.

I'm asking because I've been talking with Big Tick (the company that
makes the Cheeze Machine) about the Performer's EQ section. I think
that would make a killer addition to their soft string synth.
