Tom,
The time was the very early '80's.
There was no 'type' of person who bought them, just
them with not a lot of money.
We did sell a few, as they were the end of line. We
used to sell load of 'Roady's and 'Muiltimen'.
The 'Jazzman' was built in the early '70's and
ended around '78/'79.
If memory serves me, the 'Jazzman was much like the
later roadrunner and RoadRacer's.
The Roady replaced them all in '79.
They are all not something that is wanted at all in
the UK now adays.

Yes, I am afraid to say, I DO remember the 'Jazzman'.
I used to sell them from 'Chase' in Manchester, as we were the only Crumar dealer in the UK.

Dear Plank
This is very exciting! Although I'm concerned about your "I'm afraid to say..." does this mean it's not all good news then?
I would be really interested to hear anything at all about the elusive JAZZMAN - were they cheap/pricey, sought after/smirked at, and did you sell many? What kind of musicians were buying them? I don't even have a clue about what sort of era we are talking about here.
All crumbs or nuggets gratefully accepted
