Trace signal around Filter. Most likely it's the analog filter that
has failed. If signal is getting in but not out then almost assuredly
since all control is digital. However I'm dealing with a chroma
polaris currently that has osc1 out on an assigned
voice..however..ahem...it doesn't appear to be analog in nature. ...!
I'm still trying to figure out how this is possible. but the effect
moves from channel to channel depending on the assigner's perspective
:). It also has lost the entire switch panel suddenly. As in 30 or
so switches near simultaaneously stopped working. You will all say
'not so!'..however...I've confirmed it. They always worked before.
The functions still work if you short the appropriate wires. The
ribbon cables are flawless down to the panel membrane switch pad.
However...each..individual switch appears...to have ceased to
conduct..all at once. ARE WE IN A VORTEX OR SOMETHING! Sheesh..what
a weird week! -Bob
