Aren't we all. I won my DS-2 in a fierce and heartless bidding war on eBay, and
therefor had to pay quite a bit for it. (My good friend "Crumar," as I refer to
the synth, is however the most wonderous object I now own, and therefor worth,
too me at least, all of the myriad hundreds of dollars that I bested my
competitors with). Best of luck finding a DS-2 for "cheap." Given that the
Crumar company stopped production of this glorious collection of analog
circuitry shortly after I was born, they are somewhat of a rariety. Although I
have no objective understanding of how you conceptualize "cheap," I am fairly
certain that it will be no easy task finding one of these machines within that
price range.

Cheers,

rdl

All right guys,
I was holding back but I can't anymore:

there was a FREE Crumar DS-2 here in New York about
a month ago, advertised on Harmony Central. It had
minor problems but was functional. I didn't
pick it up because I was busy.

See, you don't always have to spend "myriad hundreds dollars",

Cheers

Maxim
PS. get a Chroma Polaris instead ;p

I still have the Bit 01 :))))
