My Bit99 dont start

My Bit99 dont start

2003-06-24 by nanneman78

I have used my Bit99 for some years now but a few weeks ago it stoped
to respond to MIDI in. I then turned the machine off and on again.
The leds blinked a few times and then it was dead.

I took to my dad thats a teacher in electronics so he could take a
look at it. But with no schematics there is nothing to work with.

Do you have had this problem before? I have to theorys. One is that
the power switch is broke but that doesnt explain the midi problem.
The other is that the internal battery has run out. But that doesnt
explain that the machine doesnt start.

Hope I can get some help here.

Sincerly

Thank you very much. I hope I will fix it without going to the
musicstore to repair it. Those charges is killing me.
