Multiman-S no sound

Multiman-S no sound

2003-11-14 by poly_user2002

Hello all :)

I have a old Multiman-S, first Version, which doesn´t produce sound
anymore. I´ve bught him defect from a friend. Unfortunaly the
Oscillator-Chip is removed and also one Capacitor. So i have a few
Questions for you.

1) I´ve also have a old Organ here, which i don´t need anymore, so
i´ll try to use its Oscillator on the Multiman. The Organ works with
a few ITT TDA430N Chips, which i´d like to know if they are Pin-
compatible to the original Multiman-Oscillator.

2) At the Board which holds the SAA1004-Frequency-Dividers and the
OSC-Chip, are normally six fat Capacitors located. One capacitor is
missing, it is the 2nd one from the right side (left from the fat
blue one). Can anyone tell me how much Capacity/Voltage he should
provide?

3)I don´t know if it should play a role, but above at the left
capacitors on this Board are two relative big resistors located,
which get really hot after a while. Is this caused by the missing
Capacitor?

4) (and the most important question): Can anyone tell me which
voltages the voltage source should provide on each output pin?

Sorry that i have so much questions at one time, but i´d like to get
him back working and using him, cause i owned a long time ago this
Multiman, which i had to sold, now i´ve bought him back from my
friend and he doesn´t work anymore :(

It would be really great if someone can help me :)

Greetings from Germany

Stef
