I am conducting pit orchestra for Pirates of Penzance. Keyboard 2 part is written for a Crumar. I don't have one, nor do I intend to get one. Using either a Korg Triton LE or a Yamaha RS-9, what would be the best substitutions for the Crumar sounds? What are the traditional Crumar sounds? What do all of the settings mean? Ex: Bass off//B.F. 66 4 1/2 3//L. 5(45) 5(5)//R. 5(45) 5(6)//Med. Brite Certain sections call for Crumar in left hand and ARP in right hand. Any thoughts?
