Crumar Spirit

2004-08-10 by Bob Lennon

I am considering the painfull decision of selling my Crumar Spirit.
It is in near mint condition. Serial #110
I have the original carrying case & owners manual.
Several folks on this list had asked me to email them but I've lost
their emails.
Any generous offers before I possibly put it up on ebay?
my ebay name is digitalstranger in case you want to look me up
before considering an offer.
private emails only. not to this list.
Thanks
Bob

Hi Bob,

Just saw your message. Did you list the Spirit? I was away from
computers last week, so this is the first I've heard about your keyboard.

Thanks.

Chris

Hi Chris,
Not sure if I responded to this email yet, but since it's in my inbox, I
guess not.

I still have my spirit. still wrestling with the idea of selling.
possibly only a generous offer could wrestle it out of my hands....

this is no crap. I'v eactually been using this thing more and more.. and the
more I use it
the less I want to part with it

Hi Bob,

Thanks for the reply. I understand your hesitation to part with the
Spirit. From what I've read, and from the samples I've heard, it's a
nice synth. I'm wrestling over the same thing with my RMI Keyboard
Computer II. Although a completely different beast than the Spirit, it
too is an unusual synth, the product of an evolutionary dead end.

If you like the Spirit so much, why not hold onto it?

Bit One for sale

2004-09-10 by david | spacelab.tk

Hi there,

I'm selling my beloved Crumar Bit One (just to buy a Bit 99: less space,
more midi...), the synth is in very good shape and every part of it works
except for the typical Bit One problem: it doesn't keep patches in memory so
you have to save/load them via tape interface, I'm use to do it on an audio
file, it takes 23/25 seconds. Anyway the reparation is simple and cheap
(they asked me 30 euros for that).

It comes with manuals, schemes and with an Anatek Pocket Midi Filter (if
needed).

Any offer before I put it on eBay?

Ciao,
David

Hi group,

I created a new album with 6 pictures of a Spirit which belongs to a friend of mine. He gave his permission to upload the pics to the group for all of you to enjoy. As you can see he own's a mint Spirit and actually I quite envy him. :)

regards, Dennis
