RE: univox stringman

I found a stringman lying in a garbage pile near my house a few
months ago; it was in terrible condition but I managed to get most of it to
work after a bit of work. Unfortunately, I too was unable to find any
information on this instrument. My quest for schematics has turned up empty.
Mine has a couple of divider chips gone wrong, which I need to replace, but
I haven't really tried to find replacements yet (let's hope they're still
available).
It's definitely made by Crumar -- I have a crumar Performer and the
strings sound very similar to that, although the "chorus/phaser" and
envelope are very different.
	If you find additional info on this instrument, please post it here;
I'll do the same.

Subject: Univox Stringman

Just picked up this neglected beast and gave her the once over.
She plays fine with the acception of 2 bass keys and one cello key
being out.I'll open her up again sometime later and fix that.
So far I've found NO information on it, only a picture.
I understand it might be a Crumar re-package, seeing how all the parts
inside read Crumar.
Also the serial # reads " 1 " in the first small box and then " 0018 "
in the larger box next to it.Could it be the 18th made?
Any info would be extremely helpful.(i.e - dates, manuals, schimatics)
Thanks in advance,
Dwayne - Atlanta,GA.
