Bit One minor faults

Hi, I have a Bit One with a couple of minor faults that I wonder if anyone has come across: 1. The headphone output is very noisy. There's a background hiss that doesn't change with the volume settings at a level that's quite annoying. 2. The bottom octave of the keyboard plays the same pitch as the second one. Has anyone seen these problems before? As an aside, my keyboard PCB (P-1100) has a small piggyback board (P- 1114) on it. It seems to be connected in some way with the keyboard scanning, but I can't figure out what it's supposed to do. Is it possible that this is something to do with the octave problem? Cheers mark-r
