Crumar T1/C

Crumar T1/C

2006-07-25 by johngiotis

Me and a friend of mine, we are about to buy a used Crumar T1/C organ.
The guy that owns it, said it is in fairly good condition but it has a
slight tuning problem. It sometimes can't reach the perfect pitch.

I know that this synth has a knob that is used for tuning but I don't
know how it works. The only resource I found on the internet about this
synth was a website written in Italian (which I don't speak) with some
photos and another site with samples from a VST emulation of the T1/C.

If anyone can help providing any kind of information about this
instrument it would be very helpful. You know anything could be
good...photos, manuals, sound samples, web links...anything!

We are going to go and test the instrument next Saturday afternoon at
the owner's house and we'd like to be prepared...

Thanks in advance!
jonn

Hi John

The Crumar T1/c is a very good organ. You can well simulate Hammond if you put a leslie on it. I own a T1 ( it's the second version of T1's, the T1/c is the third...) And it sound very well. The tune is very accessible on the back of the instrument, near the output jack. the bass synthesizer on the left-hand is also very good, with a big metalic sound ( put a big reverb on it !!! )

Bye

Benjamin

SAVE THE CRUMARS !

but if you could send me any manuals, other infos or big pictures (if
you have any of them) and any sound samples you would be of great help
to us. I know I'm asking for something difficult but...

I also just got a Crumar T1 (off ebay).

I checked ebay today, and someone has the manual/schematics for sale
there, pretty inexpensive. Or just go to this site:
www.rhodeselectrics.com and ask about it. Joao there has been very
helpful to me.

LOVE my new T1.
