Hi,
if I'm correct the Crumar Orchestrator is using an ensemble circuit with 3
BBD chips to generate the chorus effect on the strings. I suspect that
something is wrong in this effect circuit that causes the strange behaviour.
Check the power supply and the wiring. Perhaps a wire got loose? Or perhaps
the power supply is unstable resulting in chips that fail. With almost any
old synth I get my hands on i replace the big power supply capacitors to
make sure that power regulating is alright.
