hi,i just purchased this beautiful synth and im having some
issues.when i first got it i use the headphone output and now the
sound comes and goes. The poly output works fine, and you can hear the
synth section in the background, but its a constant drone.Sometimes i
will flip the on off switch a few times then press the keys and the
sound comes back, then slowly fades. After awaile the sound stays.does
anyone know the cause of this? thanks

when the drone is mostly in the low side of the keyboard, it's normal.
afcourse it's always good to sometimes give a new instrument a service
especially when cracking pots and or keys appear.
on the whole just play and enjoy the ds2, unless someting is really6
broke, it's normal/analog.
i have two , alweays a soft dronesound in the first octave of the
keyboard. big deal for me, i love them,
congratualations, sunny

And does somebody know of prblems with a noise generator? It gives a burst every (about) 3 seconds, and once (and only once), when I turned my DS2 on, it worked!
