There are SDKs for both devices. They are provided to companies under NDA for specific uses. We would need to talk about your particular use. The tendency on Linux is for everything to be pretty communal, open source, etc... which is a model that does not necessarily fit well with commercial development.
I'm not sure what details would need to be hammered out before that
could be a possibility.
